United Bank recently presented a $100,000 check to the Wellstar Sylvan Grove Medical Center of Jackson, Georgia as a part of the 2025 Georgia Heart Hospital Program. The donation helps enhance access to medical services in Butts County. Lisa Johnson, Vice President and CNO of Patient Care Services; Guillermo Sanabia, Vice President of Operations and COO; and Erica Fishell, Executive Director of Operations accepted the check on the hospital’s behalf.

“2025 marks the fourth year we’ve participated in the Georgia Heart Program, and we’re proud to make a contribution that helps to improve access to quality healthcare in rural communities,” explained Ronnie Burch, President of United Bank in Jackson. “Through Georgia Heart, companies like United Bank can actively support the hospitals in our footprint.
