The Braly Scholarship was established in 1978 to honor the life and work of the late Dr. S.U. Braly. The Braly Scholarship Committee began awarding service scholarships in 1982 and is one of the oldest continuously running scholarship funds in Paulding County. Over the past 44 years, the Braly Scholarship has granted a total of 82 awards to 62 different recipients.

The Braly Scholarship Fundraiser and Award Dinner aims to raise essential funds to support scholarships for aspiring and current healthcare workers. The scholarship gives preference to residents of Paulding County who have a passion for patient care. The Award Dinner will recognize community members, celebrating their contributions, involvement, and leadership in the community.
